Dr. Gulani is a world reknowned Lasik surgeon (ophthalmologist) and performs the whole spectrum of refractive surgery including laser vision surgery (Lasik, Lasek, Epi-Lasik, PRK-Photorefractive Keratectomy, PTK- Phototherapeutic Keratectomy and ASA.), Cataract and intraocular Lens Implant surgery using monofocal Iols and multifocal lenses like the Acrysoft ReStor Presbyopic lens, INTACS for Keratoconus and combinations of the above to help people decreases their dependence on eye glasses.

Having published his experience on Wavefront Custom lasik, especially with the Bausch & Lomb Zyoptix and the VISX Customvue systems, he introduced the first Pentacam topography system in North East Florida. Dr. Gulani has designed surgical instruments for Lasik eye surgery and is a world resource for Lasik complication management.

Dr.Gulani’s Amniotic membrane (Human Placenta) graft surgery for Pterygium, pinguecula and dry eyes bring patients from all over the world to the First Coast in Jacksonville, Florida. Recently he introduced a new eye surgery specialty- Corneoplastique™ which allows Lasik surgeons to use Laser eye surgery to correct corneal scars, irregular astigmatism, previous eye surgeries like Radial keratotomy (RK), Corneal Transplants and contact lens induced complications.
